Frank O’Dea’s rags to riches story of triumph over adversity is one that is amazing and truly inspiring. From living on the street, and against all odds, O’Dea became one of Canada's most successful and celebrated entrepreneurs, founding numerous businesses, including The Second Cup. The Government of Canada sought him out to found the Canadian Landmine Foundation and with help from the United Nations, Sir Paul McCartney and Colin Powell, he launched the worldwide charity, Night of a Thousand Dinners. A recipient of two university degrees and the Order of Canada, Frank O’Dea’s inspiring story is retold in his book “When All You Have is Hope”.
